The Cow
The cow is a useful animal. The cow has four legs, two
eyes, two hairs and a long tail. There is tuft of hair at the end of the tail.
The cow lives on grass. The cow gives us milk. The cow is gentle.
Rice
Rice is our main food. It grows well in Bangladesh, India,
Myanmar, Japan and China. There are three kinds of
rice in Bangladesh.
There are Aus, Amon and Boro. There is another kind of rice called “IRRI”. It
also grows well in our country. We eat rice, Chira, Muri, cakes etc. are made
from rice. It is very useful to us.
So we should take care of growing more rice in our
country every year.
Jute
Jute is a kind of fiber. We get it from jute
plants. It is our cash crop. Bags and ropes are made from Jute. It is the best
packing materials. We export Jute and earn a lot of foreign currency. So, Jute
is called the golden fiber of Bangladesh.
